Targeted Interview Guide

Read the Targeted Interview Guide to get additional follow-up questions or areas where more information from a candidate may be needed. These areas are based on the most extreme scores, or the strongest personality characteristics, from the eTest profile. For each suggested area, targeted interview probe questions are suggested.

These guidelines will help ensure fairness, effectiveness and usefulness:

• Use these results to prepare for your interview with the candidate.
• Review the job requirements.
• Review the targeted interview probes (TIPs).

Below are sample TIPs from the profile we are using for illustration. Note that both of these examples can be seen as the potential downsides of things that may be strengths or assets. The over-use of a strength, or its exaggerated state, can be just as much of an impediment to success as a gap or weakness.
